A voice memo, a call recorded on your phone, a video of a meeting or a lecture: Resona transcribes the audio or video file right on your Mac. The file goes nowhere, and the recording becomes an ordinary meeting, with search, notes and a place in your notes folder.

Do I need the internet?

Not for recording and transcription: they run on the Mac itself. The internet is needed for updates, and for notes and copilot when you ask for them.

Which call apps does Resona work with?

Any of them. Resona records your Mac’s sound and your microphone, so it does not matter where the conversation happens: in an app, in the browser or in the room.

Will the other people know I am recording?

Resona adds no bot to the call, so it tells nobody anything by itself. Let people know yourself: it is good manners, and many companies’ rules require it.

Which languages?

Russian and English, including both in the same meeting.

Can I transcribe a recording I already have?

Yes, on Pro: an audio or video file is transcribed on the Mac and becomes an ordinary meeting, with search and notes.

Where does a meeting’s text go?

Nowhere, until you ask for notes or copilot yourself. Then that meeting’s text goes through the Resona server to the AI model provider; the Resona server does not store the text. The audio never leaves.

Do I need an account?

No. No account, no e-mail: download, install, record. Pro is tied to your Mac.

Is there a Windows or phone version?

For now, only a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) on macOS 14 or newer. A Windows version is being prepared: leave your e-mail in the Download section from a Windows computer and we will write once, when it is out.
